Where blog is headed

It is Wednesday October 30th, 2024, over three years since I wrote that essay and a few years since I posted it to my blog. I sorta gave up with the blog, life after the military was not an easy transition for me and to add on chronic pain, PTSD, and heart failure, I didn’t feel that I had the fucks to add a blog to my life. I mean, I pretty much spent the last three years of my schooling at the Academy of Art University just trying to survive and complete assignments. I am also not much of a writer, and tend to keep my writing short and to the point, I guess that is what will be the expectation going forward; No long blog posts repeating the same information over and over. Like, have you ever tried to look up a recipe online to find the one you want hidden in a blog; first having to sift through the blogger's childhood story of how they first had this recipe at age three and now make it every week with their seven perfect children. This blog won’t be that, I will  promise that much, it actually probably won’t even be that good.

After many health battles with my heart over the years I recently found out through genetic testing that I have Desmoplakin Cardiomyopathy, I am actually scheduled in twelve days to have an Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator implanted in my chest to hopefully prevent sudden death. I sorta felt like giving up, like what's the point of all this crap, why even waste my time trying to be an artist and a photographer when I kinda suck at it and my hearts probably going kill me anyway. 

Not a super healthy way to live with that mindset, so I made the choice to live moving only forward. I want to be a successful artist and photographer and run a small photography business. I am currently taking a class on starting a photography business. The assignment last week was to make a Marketing Solar System and within that system to create a blog. So thats exactly what I am doing; what to expect from my blog….probably alot of spelling a grammar errors. 

My blog will be the personality of my solar system, It will mainly focus on my photography, sharing lessons and tips I have learned, stuff that works and doesn’t work for me, maybe an occasional review; gear I use and I like and stuff I thought I would really like when I start photography but now realize it was a waste of money. Over time my blog will probably evolve as I grow as a photographer but one thing it will be is true to who I am.
